Money and happiness

Giving money, volunteering and being available to friends are highly correlated with happiness.
Generosity
had a positive effect on happiness in 93% of 136 countries studied.

We can’t be happy without at least one meaningful, close relationship.
When you fail to deal with your emotions, they can blow up as anger, irritability, anxiety, rage, hostility, depression, and numbness.
You are fooling yourself if you keep thinking that the next monetary, status or material will finally be the ticket to happiness. You believe happiness is always one more goal away.

Happiness is a state of mind, and it depends on how you respond to events, not on the events themselves. Meditation helps to become better at that.
